I'm there...

My eyes close softly and mind drifts into the night sky, carrying my laden corpse with it. I awake basking in the suns glory, walking into clouds of pure bliss as my eyes fill with the mist of beauty flowing from the mountains around me. I swim in oceans of joy knowing no end but for what my eyes can see. For now I am in an inconceivable world, floating amongst the pillars of time and without the finite measures of man. The wind blows through my veins as I dance like the Lilly beds below. I am a new creation navigating the unknown trails of the heavenly, feeling every step begin a new life. Watching the sky above me and the land below intertwine and erupt into wonders cosmos would envy. And as I question where to go and what to envision I slip back into the world I know. A world full of sorrow and pain, one in which I struggle to live and stay the course, and as I step into the world before me I long for nobility of the world behind, the opening of radiant gates and the steps back into a vast realm of perfection. Oh how I dream of my time there again.
