The quote live like your dying is quite known these days, take advantage of what air you have in your lungs, do great and wonderful deeds, dance like no ones looking, sing and shout and do what you can for tomorrow... well, there is none. The thought we always have is what great grand thing can I do with my time left, how can I impact this world and squeeze every second of life I can out of this heart. This is the crazy thing, we only think of life within the context of death... but... but, what if life became the driving force for the great things we do, not the ticking clock death holds over our life? What if lived in such a manner where all the good that we do in this world came from a place of overflowing life and not this pressure in which we need to accomplish this predesignated amount before we die?
Life is full of everything, the sad, the inspirational, the hopeful, the tragic, the honest, the truth, the pain and everything you can imagine an existence to have. With this blog I just want to share what some of my things are, hope you enjoy :)

Failure or stepping stones?
Failure is bad, or so we've been told. But if we look at what failure means according to its definition we find: lack of success. Funny is it not... much like darkness is the absence of light and cooled is the absence of heat failure is the absence of success. But according to that logic failure is not actually a reality, just the lack of a certain reality we wished to see. So this question needs to be asked... is there really failing or just stepping stones to a place we didn't envision in our minds?
Creating or capturing what already is?
Here's a thought, do we create the things of this world or do we simply just bring into existence something that already is? To get technical all the actual elements, the material we use, are already there, we just rearrange them to create what our minds have thought of. Maybe this will help, did we create the car or did we finally put certain pieces of the puzzle together to form the car? I don't know the answer to this but this thought is super cool and one I thought I'd share.

Lack or lack of perspective?
We as humans have discovered this wonderful technique in life, to see what isn't there. The sad thing is seeing what isn't there has made our lives worse than better. We so often look at how we get treated by others, spoken to by others and make it out to this whole world hating who we are, rejecting who we are, saying we aren't good enough. If only we could use this skill of seeing what isn't there and use if for good. If we would look at people and imagine they were actually.... good, that they cared for you without even knowing, that would be amazing. So here is a reminder to us that we just need to see this world as good and it immediately becomes good.

Today is...
Yesterday's tomorrow turned out to be a wonderful today. Look at the skies above, the greens below, the blue's across the seas, the laughter within. Today carried the joy yesterday sent for anyone willing to receive it. There is no end to this greatness, no space that won't experience the light that shines from the sun, no void to big that the beautiful that is the dawn of a new day that wont be filled. There is nothing in this world that can stop the onslaught of peace, the armies of goodness, the ages of purity.

In need of another.
What do you do when you are alone? When there are countless rooms to explore but no companion to journey with? What do you do when you have stories to share, ideas and thoughts to pass on but no ears to listen? What do you do when your heart has no pulse but you still walk through this world wondering if you will find some life for your soul? I'm so lost my, so in need of a friend, so in need of someone to walk along with me.

Any friends?
Excuse me sir, the little boy asked, I need a friend, I'm lost and don't know where to go. A middle aged man set down his paper for a moment to see who it was that was speaking. The man found it cute that this little boy asked such a question. Unfortunately cuteness isn't enough to spark compassion and so the man said I'm too busy to help. And so the boy went to the lady sitting next to the man with the paper and asked the same thing, miss, I need a friend, I'm lost and don't know where to go. Again cuteness welled up in the woman's heart but never led to a compassionate act and she just passed the young boy onto the next passenger on the bus. So on and so forth this continued till everyone was asked and the boy found no one to help him. Then the tears started to flow, not from the boy but from the one telling about the boy, for that boy was me and after being denied friendship it's hard to live in this world. Would anyone want to be my friend?
